The butter market is very firm, with an exceptional demand for New Zealand butter, owing to 4short supply on hand Choice No'\' Zealand brands are selling at 106s; Danish 112s: Siberian 97s per cwt.

Tho rheea<» market is very firm, with a good deTnr.ud. New Zealand offerings are snisill. (>4« being obtained for ■wlilte makes, and CO* per cwt for coloured.

Tho hemp »>arket is very firm and the niai-kft is exciled. There ia a -^dilative demand, owing 1 to reports from J^aniila indicating a light shipment fronj there.
