Warning to Motor Car Drivers
CHRISTCHURCH, July 4. The police arc taking steps against furious motor car driving, and to-day W. J. M. Hopkins was lined £5 and costs for driving a car round the Bank of New Zealand corner at other than a walking pace. A witness said that the speed driven was twelve miles an hour.
