SYDNEY, June 20.

The Government flags will be halfmasted at the time of Mr Seddon's funeral to-morrow.

DUNEDIN, June 19.

Before adjourning the Supreme Court, Mr Justice Cooper, in announcing that the Court would be closed on Thursday (the day of tho late Premier's funeral), eaid: "I wish to add that I personally regret very much that the state of public business here will not permit of my attending tho funeral of the late Mr Seddon and paying a last tribute of respect to his memory." After expressing regret that he had not had a previous opportunity of referring from the Bench to the deatli, his Honor said he echoed tho expressions of admiration for Mr Seddon's pn.st career, and of the sense of loss which the nation and the community have suffered in his death, which has been announced from time to time by everybody from His Majesty the King throughout the British dominions and down, he was going to say, to the smallest society we have in the colony. Mr Seddon's loss is a national, loss and a colonial loss also.
