PR-OFOSUD VISIT OF A TASMANIAN
TEAM.

CHBISTCHUHCH. May 16.
t a meeting of the !New Zealand Cricket Council last night the Tasmanian Cricket Association wrote asking terms for a visit of a Tasmanian team in 1906-7 matches to be confined to the South Island and Wellington. It was suggested that the Council could not approve of any tour leaving Auckland out. The matter was referred to the committc which is negotiating for the visit of an English team.
