'WELINGTON, February 13. The following nineteen candidates have been recommended for admission to the Wellington Training College: Jessie Abernethy. Ada Eastwood (Wanganui), Anastasia Slpwey, William Hoult, Stanley Dyson (Nelson), F. Grant, C. Strack (Wanganui), K. Hewitson (Nelson), Jessie Gordon (Wanganui), Annabella Dale (Khandallah, Wellington), Mary Robson (Wanganui), Lena McKcllar (Wellington), Vera Bayly (Wanganui), Margaret Newman (Havelock), Maggie Magill, Lucinda Dagg, Marjory Antill (Wellington), Henry Phillips (Nelson), Gladys Mackay (Wellington).
The first four in the list get boarding scholarships valued at £30, in addition to ,£lO allowance, and University foes. All tho others get the £10 and University foes.
