TECHNICAL EXHIBITION.
Interesting to Country Visitors.
The Wanganui Education Board has issued the following circular: — 1. All trains will be met by numbers >of the Beception Committee. '.' ' f 2. Refreshments and lunch will.oe provided at town prices in a marquee placed at the Technical School. Ample 'provision Trill be found there for all tl*e requirements of scholars and adults. 3. Scholars who require to be billeted will meet Mr Payne and his committee at the Drill Hall at 4.30 p.nu/'on the day of their arrival in WangantA. 4. Schools present on the opening day will assemble at the Drill Hall at 1.15 p.m. Each school will fall in at the bugle call, and afterwards march in an orderly fashion into the Drill Hall. The opening ceremony will be very short. It is expected that all schools in and around Wanganui will be Represented at the opening function by' as many teachers and scholars aa possible. 5. Exhibits of garden produce, flowers, and cookery will be received up till Monday, 18th inst.y-»e»12 o'clock. 6. Scholars and. k teachers are admitted to the exhibit i«UL~ free of charge; for all others a charge of 6d will be made. 7. The exhibition will open on Monday, 18th mat., sA'2 p.m. and thereafter will remain ogen-.'from 10 a.m. till 5 p.m. and from 7 p.«r« till 9 p.m. each day until Thursday, 28th December. 8. The "fcpening -ceremony will comprise three or^four musical items and short speeches^' M»y G. S. Bridge, Esq«,, chairman of the Education Board, J. T. Hogan, Esq.; 14-H.R., and others. A.
