WELLINGTON, December 4.
Mr Fisher, one of the candidates for Wellington Central, has instructed his solicitors bo issue a writ against the N.Z. Times, claiming ,£IOOO damages for libel alleged to be contained in the Sentinel, an electioneering publication printed at the Times office.
Mr Hogan invites all who can assist on election day to attend his combined committee meeting this evening. Mr Hassldcn will address the lady electors in. Willis's Hall to-morrow (Tuesday) afternoon at 4 o'clock.
Mr K. M. Gatenby addrcrses the electors of Arnmoho this evening. Mr Willis's town committee meet finally this evening at Duigan's rooms. Every member is asked to roll up.
Mr Willis's Aramoho committee meet this evening at Aramoho (corner of Seddon Street and Kaikokopu road). As this is the last meeting of the campaign a full attendance is kindly requested. Mr Bassott's committee will meet at 8 o'clock at AVychodil's Rooms to-night. All members are requested to hand in their rolls.
