DANNEVIRKE, December 1.

The first address here in the election campaign was given last night by Mr Hunter, tho Opposition candidate. There was a large attendance. The speech was mainly devoted to criticisms of the actions "of the Government. Mr Hunter supported the freehold, but op'poscd Biblo reading in schools. He had a most attentive hearing, and was accorded a vote of thanks and confidence, an amendment of thanks only being rejected.
