IN pursuance of "Tlie • Electoral Act, 1905," I, THOMAS DICK CUMMINS, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Wanganui, do hereby give notice that, by virtue of a Writ bearing date the 22nd day of November, 1905, under the hand of the Clerk of the Writs, an election will be held for the return of .a qualified person to serve as member for the said district; and that the latest day ior receiving nominations of candidates will be the 28th day of November, 1905; and that ( the poll, if necessary, will be taken at the several polling-places of the said district on the 6th day of December, 1905. Every man desirous of becoming a candidate must be nominated by not less than two electors of the district, by a nomina-tion-paper as prescribed by section 97 of the said Act, delivered to the Returning Officer on or betore the 28th day of November, 1905. And I further give notice that under the "Licensing Act, 1895." a Local Option Poll will be held at the same time and place. I vote that the number of licenses existing in the -tftdiriet continue. 2. I vote that the number of licenses existing in the district be reduced. 3. I vote that no licenses be granted in the district.
