ENTRIES CLOSE TO-NIGHT.

Entries for all classes (including the school competitions) close with the secretary at 9 o'clock this evening -at Messrs Jas. Laird and Sons' Avenue shop. Telephone, No. 137. Teachers will bear in mind that exhibits for the school competitions are not -required till Friday morning.- It should also be remembered that, exhibits for classes B. C. and D. must be the product of a school garden, but in E, F, G, and H, it is not necessary to use flowers grown at schools, bxit must be inad£ up at school under the supervision of a teacher. - .'J\M\&

Ail indications are for a big Show.- in every respect, and the holding capacity of tha Drill Hall will doubtless be put to a severe test. A splendid programme of music and other attractions is to be provided each evening, and taken as a whole,' the public will have a rare good shilling's worth. The Show will be open to the public at 2.30 on Thursday afternoon.
