With reference to the statement that, owing to the Commonwealth legislation against Asiatics, Australian goods were to be boycotted by China similarly to the American, the Chinese Merchants' Association in Sydney disclaim any attempt in such a direction. On their part thsy also communicated with the associations in China,' with a view to frustrating the initiation of a boycott, at least until tho Federal Government had been asked to concede the Chinese the same privileges as are extended to the Japanese.
