I>aleety and Co., Ltd., Wellington, have received the following cablegrams from their London office, dated 24th instant • —"Prices of prime mutton tallow are unchanged; other descriptions are at par to 3d higher, still buyers show little or no disposition to operate for forward delivery on the basis of recent offers. Frozen beef— Prices aye somewhat firmer. Mutton— Any change in price is in favour of buyers.' Light weights frozen lamp—Prices are lower by l-8d per lb; other descriptions lower by -}d per lb. Butter— Copenhagen official quotation unchanged. Total imports of butter Into the United .Kingdom for the week ending 19th instant amounted to 72,000 cwt., as compared with 82,000 for corresponding period of last year.
