The New Zealand Grand National Meeting concluded to-day in dull weather. The atendance, however, was very fair, and speculation better than on the corresponding day last year. The investments reached £13,246. Results: — Ladies' Bracelet, 2 miles. — Bill Bailey 1, Merginae 2, Whataroa 3. Also started: Rexer, Grosvernor, Flying Cloud, Ornament, and Escort. Won by a length and a quarter. Time, 3 mins. 55 sees. Dividends, £2 14s 6d and £% 4s. Hack Hurdles, once round and a distance — Narcissus 1, Taxpayer 2, Wee MacGregor 3. Also started: Noxious Weed and Leeside. Won comfortably by two and a half lengths. Time, 3 mins. 12 sees. Dividends, <£4 10s 6d. Sydenham Hurdles, one mile and threequarters. — Tupara 1, Comfort 2, Daredevil 3. Also started: The Mohican, Waiwera, Cavalry, Levant, Rungarawa, and Catherine Gordon. A good finish..
