HOKITIKA BEATS WESTPORT.

WESTPORT, Aui

This afternoon the Hokitika football team met and defeated Westport team by 29 points to nil. In the first spell the Hokitika forwards, with good passing, over-ran tlieir opponents and scored five tries, Wade converting one and Wilson another. The spell ended 19 — 0. In the second spell Westport set up a strong attack, but lacked tne scoring men. Within five minutes of time Hokitika made & couple of dashes up the field, and Wade and Cederman each scored a try, both of which were converted by Wade. The game ended — Hokitika 29, Westport nil.
