Murray, Roberts, and- Co. report: — We offered 40. bales of wool, 1800 sheepskins, 450 hides and calfskins,, and a small lot of tallow. With few exceptions offer-, ings of wool were inferior lots, and bidding consequently was slow, .'prices ruling--' a shade easier than at last sale. Skins, on the other hand, were, eagerly bought at prices well up to late- values-. Hides were inclined to ease in price. Tallow sold' up tolate rates. Prices ruling* were as ..under :-?*■- Wool. — Crossbred, medium, 7Jd to Bsdper lb; crutchings, good,' clean, '6Jd-,tO' 7|d, inferior to medium, 4|d to 6&IL; ' pieces, locks, etc., 3sd to~ssd. Skins.— Crossbred, fine; - 7f d to B£d ; >' crossbred, coarse to medium, 7£d to-B|d-; crosscbred, dead and inferior pelted, ssd to 7d; lambs, 6£d to BJd. Hides. — Medium ox 18s 6d to. 21s 6d each, light dx 14s to 17s 6fl; J medium v to heavy cow 15s 6d to 2Os'{sd,- light cow -13« to 14s 6d, calf and yearling Is 9d to 6s.' ■ Tallow. — In casks, medium, to 19s '6d. •' Date of next sale is Ist of September."'
