She brought transhipments ex the Moari, from Liverpool, Tongariro and Star of England from London, and Wimmera from Australia, and also a quantity of town cargo. The Stormbird returns to Wellington this evening. This morning the Gertie came off the flats. She discharged her cargo to-day, aad returns to Westport this evening. The Putiki is due to-night from GreyBiouth. coal laden.

"The Moa was to have left Picton to-day and is due here to-morrow morning. She will take in cattle, and proceed to Greymouth to-morrow night. The Kennedy will not come on to Wanganui now, but the Alexander is "expected from Nelson next Tuesday instead. She returns to "Nelson on Tuesday night. To-morrow night the Storm is due from Daaedin, Oamaru, Timaru and Lyttelton, via Picton. She will discharge her cargo early on Monday morning and sail about 6 o'clock' for Dunedin.

The steamer Essex sailed from Sydnoy on Thnreduy for Auckland, in continuation of. her voyage from Liverpool. The- Tyser steamer Star of Scotland, which left London on June 24, also sailed froih.iSydnay on Thursday for Auckland. She is due at Wellington about the 29th insi. ■
