(P«r United Presa Auaciation.) DANNEVERKE, June 28. A teamster named- Aylwood wa.B killed this afternoon on the Umutaoroa Road by the overturning of a waggon laden with timber. Deceased recently came here from, the Auckland district. It is understood he leaves a wife and family at Devonpoxt. AUCKLAND, June 28. Eileen Wallace, aged nine years, died in the Hospital after having been treated for severe burns. Deceased was playing near a flre about a month' ago, and by some means her clothing became ignited. Her mother, who -teas in. -the next room, heard her cries, and quickly put out th& flamies, not, however, before the little one had,, sustained severe burns about the neck.
