Painful Railway Accident. , Little Girl's Leg CruaheeVOfT. (Per United Press Association.)' INGLEWOOD, June 14. A little girl, aged seven, daughter of Mr James Kerr, telegraphist, of Newtown, Wellington, while passing- to the refreshment car, fell between, the carriages of the mail train just north of Inglewood, with the result that one leg was crushed almost off close to the hip. She was taken off the train here and attended to by Dr. Nutting, and then sent on to the Hawera Hospital. The injury is a serious one, and the shock was very great. Fortunately the little girl's mother was on tho train, all being on the way to Wellington.
