"Sweet Nell of Old Drury" was repeated at the Opera House* last evening by Mr George Musgrove's Company, and again drew a crowded house, which followed the play with intense interest from start to finish. Miss Nellie Stewart again showed her power as an actress, being seen to 'great advantage in the dramatic situations, while she fairly revelled in the rollicking humour with which her part abouiuls, . her efforts being greeted with round after round of applause. Mrs Macsmore Morris, as Lady Oloxia, played with much grace and sweetness. Misses Bennett and' Devenport, as Lady ' Castlemaine and the Duchess of Portsmouth, acted their parts in an artistic manner, and Miss Willard played the part of Tiffen admirably. Mr Harcourt Beatty, as the "Merry Monarch," Charles 11., was splendid, hie acting being characterised by ease and grace and being finished to a degree. Mr Harry Hill's Lord Jeffreys was a very fine character study, and his pourtrayal of the part of the high-placed villian was a splendid piece of acting. Mr Malcolm Dunn made a manly Roger Lovelace and Rochester, Percival,- Rollins, Lacy and Captain Clavericy were well acted by Messrs Lindsay, Woods, Clinton,- Grant, Orrs, and Stach. ' To-night OLD HEIDELBERG will be presented. "Old Heidelberg" tells the story of a young" princeling whose earlier years are spent amidst the sombre surroundings of the Court, of which lfe is ultimately destined to become the ruler. To fit" Kirn for his future position, he is sent to the University at Heidelberg, where he epends four joyous months of happy revelry. A sudden call to take up his duties of- State separatee him from his comrades and his sweetheart. Two years of rulership and Court routine make' him cray "for his freedom at Heidelberg, and he returns, to find all changed except his sweetheart's love. Katie, the princess love, is ponrtrayed as one of - .those wineome, beautiful characters with which Miss Stewart's name is inseparable. The Prince, -a -.bright impetuous boy, isi in the hands of Mr Harcourt Beatty. A fine character study of his old' tutor, Dr Juttuer, -is played by Mr Dudley Clinton. Important parts are to Mr JamcjS Lindsay, •Mr' Hairy -Hill, Mr Harry Parker, and Mr- Malcolm* Dunn. • J

The Garrison Band will give ono of their enjoyable open-air performances at the Rotunda in Queen's .Park on Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Included in the programme will be a fine selection from Verdi's works, and the contest "selection, 'Lortzing." Bandmaster Buckley and Bandsman Gray' will" play cornet and euphonium solos respectively, with Band accompaniment.

The regular meeting of St. Paul's Band of Hope Vas held last evening, when thcie was a good atendance. An interesting address was given by the Rev.
