Heavy Cannonading Said to Have Been Heard.

Received April 24, 10.2 p.m.

LONDON, April 24. The Baltic fleet proceeded northwards after leaving Kamranh. Bay. The Temps' Saigon correspondent reports that after Rozhdeßtvensky sailed a heavy cannonade was heard off the bay, and it is supposed that an engagement took place with Japanese scouts. Rozhdestveneky momentarily expected Diebogatoff.

Three warships, supposed to be Admiral Nashima's squadron, have been seen off tho Ccfregidor Islands.
