BADDELEY, FORLONG AND CO.'S STOCK REPORT. Last week we hold sales in Wanganui and Waaverloy. In \Vanganui last Wednesday there was a large attendance of buyens. All young cattle that came forward sold well, dairy cows and orivpty heifers were dull ; sheep brought much the same prices. In Wavcrley on Friday we had a good yarding of both sheep and cattle and a large attendance of buyers from all \ arts. Everything was 3old except one pen. We quote: — At Wanganui.— Cattle — Forward cows £% 4s Gd to £i, 2 to 2', -year steers (good) £4 13s, 3-year bullocl:8.-£4 15a, 18-month steers £2 I3s. others (good) £2 16s. 18nicmtli empty heifers £2 11s, dairy cows £6, mixed 13-month cattle .£2 10s, 15month heifers £2 3s, 2 to 2i-year steers (fair) J!3 lls 6d, good yearlings £2 f<; 6d, weaners 18s to £1. empty yearling heifers £2 lls, cons and calves £2 17s to £'& 10s. Sheep — Fat wethers 17s 6d, 4-tooth wethers lc«s 4d to 15.3 9d, lambs (poor) 5s 3d, woolly lambs 9s, ewes (2 and 4-tooth) 13s Gd to 15s. Pigs — Baconcra 30s, porkers 20s to 30s, weaners 10s, store pigs 7s 3d to 15s !id.
At Waverley. — Cattle — 15 to 18-mcaths steers £2 5s to £3 4s 6d, cows and calves £3 2s Gd, empty heifers £?> 5b Gd. Shesp— Fat wethciis 16.3 Id, forward wethers 14s 6d to 14s lid, .full-mouth ewes 8s lid to 12s 3d, lambs 7s 9d to 7s lOd. . Pigs — \Veanor3 8s to 9s.
