*The Marquis Oyama reports Jthat tho picketa (29) surrounded at Auanglashatze on the 26th surrendered after the majority of them had been wounded.
The Russians mutilated all the dead.
It is semi-ofncially announced at St. Petersburg that General Gripenberg has transferred his command to General Niloff. on the ground of health. The ship Lismore, arrived at Port Louis, reports that the Baltic Fleet anchored at Nossi-Be on the 28th, with a dozen colliers. [Nossi-Be-is'an island off the north coast of Madagascar, belonging to France.] At Diego Suarez, a Franco-Russian syndicate has contracted to coal the third Baltic Fleet.
