DAIRYING IN NEW ZEALAND.
A New South Welshman's Views
New Zealand Far Ahead of New
South Wales.
Prew Asßociation.--Telegraph.— Qopjiight Received D-ecember 30, 9.40 a.m. ' SYDNEY, December 30. Mr McKenzie, Avho is interested in-dairy* ing pursuits, and who recently visited New Zealand, states that dairying in that colony is far ahead of the industry in New South Wales in point of management, intense use made of the land, and more care shown in the selection of stock than here. Tlie homesteads are more comfortable, but the land values are much higher than in the New South Wales coastal districts, considering the quality of the land, but ,this is largely due to the demand. A man seeking land according to its value has a very much, better opportunity of getting what he wants in a rainfall area in New South Wales than in New Zealand.
