A further list is published of 18 Japanese officers killed and 86 wounded, presumably at Port Arthur. - A crusade against rats in £902 has enabled the Japanese to distribute amongst tho troops in Manchuria hundreds of thousands of small fur ear protectors. Fort Itzuahan contains the remnant of the Metre Hill garrison. Artillery men with fifteen guns., contained in four stock--ades, are in front, two guns in tho rear.

The Japanese -fire- has destroyed five guns and disabled a thousand men. . China is exercising renewed vigilance to prevent the Askold and the Grosovoi from attempting to escape.
