AUCKLAND, November 30. The Takapuna Jockey Club's Spring Meeting was continued to-day in. fine weather. The attendance was good, and j£6,213 was passed through the totalisators. »fisl9 was invested on the double machine on the'Stanlev and Spring Handicaps won by ' Gweniad'^and Avalanche respectively. Ten investoio received -246 14s each. Concluding results-: — Vaxhaull Handicap.— Sir Giliad 1, Jean 2, Lycia 3. All started. Won, by a neck after a good finish. Time lmin 33secs. Dividends, .£3 15s 6d and £1 Bs. Second Pony Handicap. — Solitary 1, Sally Homer 2, Whawai 3 - Dividends, .£9 11s 6d and illls 6d.
Cautley Handicap.— Liberator 1, The Middy 2, La Cigale 3. Also started — Black and Gold. Won easily for four lengths. Time, lmin. 17 4-sseos. Dividend .£4 19s.
Handicap Steeplechase.— Princess of Thule 1, Wairaka 2, Reckless 3. Scratched — Hylas, Irish, Perseverance, and Kuranui. Won easily by five lengths. Time, 6mins. 30secs. Dividends £2 13s and .£1 14s 6d . - . , Welter Handicap. — Zuleika 1, King Paul 2, Yolette 3. Scratched— Lady Hune. Won by over two lengths. Time lmin 46 2-ssecs, Dividends <£3 18s and £4, 5s 6d.
