AUCKLAND, November 30.

The Auckland Fruitgrowers' Conference has passed a resolution , against the Shops and Offices Act. So far there is no exemption for fruiterers selling after six. It was stated that the auctioneers were raising a fund of *1000 in Auckland City to fight the Act. A proposal to join this movement, was defeated, the secretary urging that the Premier's reply to .the fruiterers' wire showed he intended to comply with their wishes.. The Conference re-, solved to ask the Qovernnfent to guarantee,' a penny in "the £ net on the export of apples to England.
