MELBOURNE, June 21.
The loss of the .Australia will not interfere with the Peninsula service, and arrangements will be made without delay to fill the vacancy.
The estimates of the value of the cargo range from £ 15,000 to ,£25,000, including 70 tons for New Zealand.
Salving was commenced to-day.
The Marine Surveyor considers the vessel will hang together for some weeks if the weather continues fine. , She will soon go to pieces otherwise. Tho astronomer predicts storms.
