■ The Supreme Court criminal session? opened thia morning. Tlie Chief Justice re-nuu-ked on the fact, that the calendar was a light one, but there wore two serious charges of assault on }'oung girls. Henry Hollow was found guilty of theft of a medal. The Chief Justice said he did not know what to do with the prisoner. Ihiriug the past ten years he had nearly ten years' imprisonment for various offences. It seemed a farce to send him to gaol, and his Honor remanded him foi* sentence. No bill was returned against Esther Knapp, concealment of birth.
