PAHIATUA, January 28. For the second day of the Pahiatua R.C.'h Summer Meeting there was glorious weather and a large attendance, the sum of -C 6268 was put through the totalisator, making- <£12,428 for the two days' racing. Concluding results — Racing Club Handicap. — Freeland 1, Fleba 2, Platypus 3. Other starters: Good Intent, Roscshoot, Benefactor, Tirole, Mussel, Sanfoin, Jeanne d'Arc and Taura. Won by about three lengths, about a length separating Fleka from Platypus. Over .£IOOO were invested on the tofalisator on this race. Time, lmin. 56£ sec. Dividends, £7 8s and .£1 6s.
Mangahao Welter. — Eangimoe 1, Wang*aehu 2, Royal Blue- 3. Oudenarde, Waipi'pi and Alas also started. Won by half a length. Time, lmin. 32scc. Dividends, £2 18s and £1 Bs.
Paliiatua Scurry. — Grawain. 1, l>ucbess 2, Notos 3. Rungarawa, Goldora, Polly Perkins, Kangaroo, Mohammed, Snooker. Unknown, St. Ludlam, Athol Brosc and Catriel also started. Time, lmin sscc. Dividends, £2 138 and £4 7s. Stewards' Handicap.— Tattle 1, Jeanne d'Arc 2,' Beplete 3. Pure Silver, Mussel, Tiitnngarehu, Turepo and Sunfish were the other starters. Won by half a length. Time, lnrin. 16 4-ssec. Dividends, JB3 15s and 12s.
