Received January 28, 10.3 p.m. XONDODN, January 28. A post mortem showed that Whitaker Wright, died from cyanide poisoning. While the judge was passing sentence Wright was observed to keep his hand in the pocket wJiere, subsequently, a- phial was found containing capsules of this poison. After protesting his innocence, he was seen to brush his mouth with his handkerchief. It is believed he then swallowed the capsulea A loaded revolver, fully cocked, was found in his hip pocket. He told a friend he had resolved never to serve a day of the sentence if convicted. "
