PJM'entr Mr linpett's-solo numbers were^ — ; •^Prelude. in-G Major" l (Ba«h), rt Hyinn de Fete" (Aitken), "March :of .the. Magi Kings", (puft'ois)? "Andante" (Batiste), "Tlie Curfew?(Mackenzie), and W. H. Jude's popular '•^hrumpet March," which concluded the recital.' Mackenzie's "Curfew" displayed the organs softer stops , to great advantage, while Dubois' "March of the Magi," iv which one note simulating the star -which led the wiße men is heard almost continually, proved ojie of the favourites of an interesting programme. The four vocal solos were well sung, these being "Angels ejjer.Bridghfc and Fair" (Handel) by Miss Byres;. "Nazareth?. .(Gounod), Mr W. Andrews; "The Starpf -Bethlehem" (Amains), Mr Jas. Murray ,.,«nd Jerusalem" (Henry Ptarker), sung by Sir Edgar Walton, of Auckland. St. Paul's choir, under the baton of Mr J . K. Manning, gave with good effect and precision the^ anthems "In the Beglnutng'^and^Hearken Unto Me, My Peo^
