In the Ladies' Championship Singles the games in. the first round were won. ay Mrs Pearcei.Mrs Payne, and Mißses R-obmson, Fitiroy, Ward, Nunneley, and Mellwood; and in the second round by Mrs Pearce, Misses Gore, Powdrcll, and Brathwaito.
In' the Mcn'a Championshin Doubles^ Laishley and Parker won their game. In the first round of the Ladies'" Championship .Doubles,' Mrs Marchbajiks a«d Gorrie, Misses Berkeley and Chaffey, and Misses Gore (2) won in the first round.
