i , The- Oreti and Aotea came off the flats on last night's tide, and will both sail for Wellington to-night. The barqupntinc St. Kilda, which loft Port iSteph'ens about three weeks ago with a cargo of blue gum timber, asrrived off the bar this morning, and ■ will probably, weather permitting, come into port on to-night's tide. The Tyeor liney Star of New .Zealand arrived in the roadstead -at 7.40 this morning. The vessel is under the command of Captain Joharin^Hart, and, as usual, comes to the agency of Mr J. L. Stevenson. She will be loaded by the lighter Thistle, and should complete her loading of Wanganui cargo by Monday night, when she will sail for Wellington. The Monowai reported at the Bluff from Melbourne, with cargo for Wanganui. The number of vessels which crossed the bar during the month of August was ill, of which 58 crossed at night.
