NEGLECT OF DUTY.
CHRISTCHURCH. September 3.
At the Lyttelton Police Court to-day H. C. Geige, A.B. on the ptcanicr Botomaliana, was fined a.nd cos-'tf» or 6 mouths' imprisonment on chnr^c--. o7 neglect of duty and disobedience of lawful commands. The evidence showed that the man v,:i,<s found asleep Avhilc on look-out duty, aud subsequently was in a condition unfit for- duty.
