Field's ablywritten letters in last Saturday's "Herald," "Omega's" letter on "Biblical Revelations : A Remarkable Discovery" deserves more than a passing notice. 1,, have not tho faintest idea who your -correspondent ""Omega" is, but I think his letter is instructive and, deserving of thoughtful perusal by all those of your readers .who take an interest in ancient history, .archaeology, j and, more especially, the startling discoveries or" -recent years in Babylonia, Egypt, Crete, Asia Minor, etc., and what was unearthed a short time ago — December-Janu-ary, lyiu-2 — at Susa, in Babylonia, by a '■"jmrtyr'of French explorers and archaeologists. The discovery is of such great — indeed, tranßcendant — interest and importance, in view of the discussions, wranglA n $ 3 ;, idel y7s# erin ff .y^wß/.and. v opiiiidns of Biblical students, scholars, scientists, and others as to the authenticity and genuineness of the Bible in whole or in part, that I make no apology for asking you to reproduce in full the account of the London Times (April 15) referred to by "Omega," and which, it so happens, I read not a fortnip-ht ago.
