Messrs Williams and Haroor draw attention lo a sale of good, useful roofing iron, timber, doois, windows, etc. The Siv'.c will be held u\\ Armalcoug'a okl corner, Ridgway. Street, commencing at 11 a.m. sharp.

Messrs Williams and Harper will sell by auction to-morrow at 11 a.m., on the section at the corner of Ridgway and St. Hill Streets, a large quantity of building timber of all descriptions ; also iron, doors, sashes, and firewood. They will be put up in lots to suit purchasers.

On Thursday, at one o'clock, Mr Kcesing will sell, on the premises' at Aranioho, the goodwill of the leasehold of Mr C. L. Bridge's two" shops, including a.hair-dress-ing saloon. The barbers' chairs and appliances will also be sold at the same time/

Tc-morrow at 1 p.m., at the' residence of Mr R. Davis, Plymouth Street, Mcssis Williams and Harper will sell by auction the whole of his household furniture and effects. The goods will be on view on the morning of the sale. Those on the lookout for good furniture 'sho/uld attend this sale, as the whole of the 'effects are to be sold, as Mr D"avis is leaving Wanganui.

Messrs Joseph PauL and Co. have a very interesting inset issued with to-night's "Herald," setting forth a few of the verymany bargains that are procurable at the great half-yearly and stock-taking sale, which commences to-morrow morning at 9 o'clock. In addition to the usual* .sale lines, Messrs Paul and Co. Have secured some wonderfully cheap lines, particularly in the dress departments and show-room, A line of ladies' skirts and another of fancy black dress goods are to be sold at prices that must sell them-.
