GISBORNE ITEMS.
(Per United Press Association.) • . ~ GISBORNE, June 16. The dairying industry is extending throughout the district, and it has now been decided to erect a factory at Motu, 50 miles inland from Gissborne.
At a meeting of the Waiapu No-license League the following resolution was passed: "This meeting views with alarm and indignation the sentiments expressed .by the Hon. Mr Carroll at Gisborne at a meeting respecting the introduction of licensed houses into the King Country.
