WELLINGTON, June 13. •Jixeeptioii has bsco taken by the agents for the newi'v-mtroduf-'d kerosene stoves t'j the statement that iires have been caused by their bursting. It the recent case dt Noleort. it is stated, tho stove did not burst, but was upset ; and in the fire at the Union Co.'d officec here yesterday, though at first put down t>> an explosion, it has boon ascertained that it did not explode, but was probably over-heated in- the absence of anyone in the building.
