L j» — i The Eangitikei Hunt Club, ,hel,d their annual mee%ig on Saturday at Ferji Flat, over a stifi^ circular course (instead of the usual poia^t to point) over Messrs j Coombea', Mcßeth'sy and Bryce-'s properties. The weather \jas good, and there weye . about 1000 present. The sport on the whple was good, some of the finishes being very exciting-/ THfe'only accident of the day was unfortunately to the master, Mr, Riddiford/ who fell off Black Watch, breaking a rib , and collar-bone. The heavy-weights ari§r light-weights traversed 3£ miles, while tW middle-weights and Farmers' Plate contestants had to negotiate, 2£ miles.
