The Department of Industries and Commerce have received the following cablegram., from v the_Agent-Generai,, dated London, Bth:— The" importation's of Argentine mutton into the United Kingdom during •May were 29,669 carcases landed in London, 136,809 in Liverpool, 17,881 in Hull, 19,3.40 in Newcastle, 10,146 in Cardiff, 2787 in Southampton, and 1574 in Flymouth. The average price is 3Jd per lb. Argentine lamb— 3999 carcases landed in London, 1360 in Liverpool, 1852 in Hull, 2010 in Newcastle, 2032 in' Cardiff, 200 in Southampton, and 100 in Plymouth; average price, 4sd. Argentine butter — 12,252cwts landed in London and Liverpool's average price,' 9os per cwt. .
