During the afternoon the captain of the .club presented a gold~brooch, kindly given by Mr James 'Stevenson, as r a' f tr6phv '■for last' season; i The winner waß Miss Caye I,'1 ,' who- played nine matches and) won -them -' all: The opening of . the courts waa delayed considerably • thrtiugh the recent rough weather, but with the long- evenings before us the members of the club should lose no time in getting into form, in view of matches on the tapis.
