T.Y.M.I.
The annual concert of the Draughts Club, which is termed the strongest branch ■ of the institute, takes place next AVednesday evening. This club does more to encourage junior- players than any other sjnular^cmb in the colpuy, aa it has four championship shields, aaid ' caters "for all classes of players. " An ' excellent pro1 gramme of 16 items has' been' drawn' up i for tlje cqubert, included in which is a ; rbadiug by Mr ' O'llalligan. . T.his ffientjc; iljan has been away for over* twelve months, and Ins re-appearance "will be 'aiixiously waited' for. It might" be mentioned that his reading will bo entirely original, and has been specially written 'for the occasion.
