SUICIDES IN MELBOURNE.
MELBOURNE, December 9. Three men committed suicide in the city to-day. One, named Weir, hanged himself to escape financial worry. The second, named Irwin, under the influence 'of liquor, swallowed laudanum and strychnine. The third, named Montgomery, .jumped from a bridge into tho Yarra, and left a letter stating that he could endure his wretched life no longer, and wanted to see the unknown.
