ALLEGED SUNDAY TRADING. A MAGISTRATE'S SURPRISE. • f WAIMATE, December 5. At the quarterly meeting of the Licensing Committee week the police report stated that Suqday trading was going on in Waimate, and Major KeddeH, S.M., ' warned, licensees, that he would deal severely with any offenders coming before him. He expressed surprise that the trade had not learned a lesson from the recent local "option -poll.
