TTMARU, December 4.

The wool t sales' openedjit Timaru yesterday morning. The catalogue comprised 2000 bales. English and Colonial buyers were well represented and bidding was very spirited. . Wool was shown in better condition than for year's. All classes are in good demands and there is a rise all roxi ud, on ejood wool, of $d on late Christchurch sales, and 2d on corresponding sale last year. The highest prices were merino lid, half-bred lOd, three^quarl!erbred 74d.
