Natives to be Imported to Work the Rand Mines;

Botha, speaking at Paarl, near Capetown, declared that as the, Boers had not been " vanquished, they ought to make Sout hA|rica their fatherland and their inheritance a happy home, taking care to educate their children to participate in the future Government. De La Bey also addressed the meeting, and spoke bitterly against the National Scouts, who took service with the British. The Labour Association on the Band is arranging to import many Nyaassbind natives to -work the mines. The Transvaal Government is awarding compensation for assisting Britishers in respect to war losses.
