■ (Per United Tress Association.) MASTERTON, June 13. Mr McGowan, Minister of Justice, together with the Under-Secretary, visited Masterton yesterday in connection with the suggested exchange of *ites of the present Court-house and section belonging to the Trust Lands Trust. It is, urged that the present Court-house accommodation is quite inadequate to-the requirements of the extensive district, The police quarters are also too small, and the buildings very old. A probable exchange will be ultimately effected. The 'proposed new site for the Courthouse nas ijjiany distinct advantages over the present location. ■ • The Ministerial party visited the Post Office tower, the splendid fish ponds, and k other places of interest, and were favourably impressed with the prospects and resources of the town and district.
