(P*r United Press Association.) TTMARU, June. 10. The criminal sessions of the Supreme Court- opened , this 'morning before Mr Justice Williams. Two accused pleaded guilty in' the Lower Court, and four charges against five persons were sent to the Grand Jury. ■ ' ■ > Horace BroadUead, a youth, was admitted to six months' probation for making a haul of jewellery from a dwelling; Thomas ' Wilson, for forging and 'uttering a cheque, was 'sentenced to nine -months' hard labour; James Tucker, at present undergoing a sentence of three years for horse-stsaling, had six months added to his term for another charge lately discovered; Thomas Nevin, charged with the theft of Jewellery at Ashburton, was ,found not guilty.
