Fifty Boer officers at Bermuda attended tie Governor's "At Home," and were deUghted with the friendly attitude of .the officers attached to the garrison. The King has notified the Corporations that he would prefer contributions, to the Hospital Fund instead, of addresses of congratulation on peace.
