Darkness for Several H6urs PressAssociation— Telegraph— Copyright Received Juno 10, 1.19 a.m. NEW YORK, June 9. A terrible eruption by Mont Pelee occurred on the. 7th instant. Darkness prevailed from 10 in the morning till 2 in the afternoon. The plains at Morneronge were covered with hot mud. Some lives were lost. The damage is moderate.
